Emergence

About this work

A vivid yellow lizard surfaces from a swirling cosmos of deep green and black, its ancient gaze calm and unhurried. The background moves like liquid smoke, alive with shifting currents of emerald, gold, and shadow. A resin finish embedded with fine sparkle gives the work an otherworldly luminosity, as though the creature exists somewhere between the natural world and something far older. Bold, primal, and mesmerizing in person. Acrylic and resin on canvas.
